As a result of training and exposure visits, more farmers have picked interest in bee keeping, bee hives have been procured and supplied under the NAADs program and adding efforts to farmers who have purchased their own bee hives.
The number of farmers involved in bee keeping is being estimated to be more than 2,000.Therefore the district steps up to encouraging more farmers to embark on this lucrative venture.
